Sustainable Food City Witzenhausen
Having a closer look at the organisation of Witzenhausen, we discovered a major problem that is reducing the potential of Witzenhausen to be an even more effective Sustainable food city. The communication between initiatives as well as with the citizens of Witzenhausen, in particular with regards to the international ones, seems to be poor. This has the consequence that information and knowledge are not shared in an effective way, reducing the potential of development. To improve the communication, we therefore strive to connect all important initiatives and create a strong and close network. The tool we use to improve the communication is an online platform, on which initiatives can among others promote their projects, motivate and support each other and exchange their knowledge and their experience. Citizens can find information about how to contribute to the first sustainable food city Witzenhausen in Germany and become part of it. We believe that together we can make a change!
