Vision: Sustainable food city Witzenhausen aims at reducing negative trends of the current unsustainable food system, by promoting all ongoing projects and initiatives that support this idea to citizens. SFC tries to inspire other cities around the world to work towards a sustainable food system, and to share their knowledge and experience in a global network by making use of the online platform.

Mission: Sustainable food city Witzenhausen tries to raise awareness among the citizens of Witzenhausen about the importance of a sustainable food system and offers practical tools to contribute to this via the online platform. In addition SFCW tries to connect active initiatives with each other and to improve the communication between citizens and initiatives.
